Adding a New Theme To Your WordPress Blog
Adding a new theme to your WordPress blog is easier than you may think. Thanks to the latest version of WordPress you can now add themes without having to upload files using ftp. I love WordPress!!!
Enough chit chat, Let’s do it.
1. Log into your WordPress admin area.
2. In the menu under Appearance select Add New Themes
You will be presented with a page like this where you have many options to install a new theme.
If you have the theme on your computer use the upload link and browse your computer for the theme. Upload and activate your new theme. It’s that easy.
If you are now looking for a theme you can use the search option to search WordPress themes bases on search terms you may have in mind for your theme. You can search by keyword, author or tags. You can also select the Featured, Newest or Recently Uploaded tabs to view Themes in those categories. You will get a result page which will load in your WordPress admin area. It will look similar to this.
Once you find a them you want to use just click on the install link to install and activate your new theme. That’s it. Now you have to give the WordPress Team some love for this cool new feature.
